Community / Creative Spaces

The Funshops are all about bringing people together and celebrating community. We’ve worked with community centres and creative hubs to bring this vision to life and to create safe, joyful spaces for people from marginalised backgrounds. Take a look at our work below.

    The Ledward Centre

    We hosted a Funshop with The Ledward Centre, Brighton’s first LGBTQ+ community centre. Read about the Funshop.

    Self Love Festival

    Age Without Limits

    Funded by Age Without Limits, this Funshop was created with the goal of celebrating ageing and challenging ageism. Read about the Funshop!

    Two Temple Place

    We ran two Funshops connected to Two Temple Places’ Lives Less Ordinary exhibition. Read about the Funshops.

    Barts North Wing

    We delivered a Funshop at Barts North Wing, a historic and cultural venue on the site of St Bartholomew's Hospital, to celebrate Diwali!

    Aashna

    We partnered with Aashna, a psychotherapist collective, to host a Funshop in celebration of LGBTQIA+ Pride & South Asian Heritage Month.

    Empowerment Funshop at the Elgar Centre

    The CLICK Arts Foundation invited us to host a Funshop at the Elgar Centre, as part of an evening of draping and dancing.

Corporate / Team Days

We have delivered private Funshops for businesses as an exercise in team building. The Funshops are a unique, fun, and informal way for colleagues to connect and collaborate outside of the office.

Local Businesses

SareeNaSorry is based in Brighton & Hove and most of our Funshops have taken place across the city. We love partnering with local businesses and contributing to the energetic Brighton social scene.
